In this course you’ll delve deeply into the energetics of birth, your mother, father, children and locations in this course, healing as you go. For maximum benefit use the hand mudras during the guided meditations or with the suggested mantras while meditating on your own. The OM mantra can also be used with any of the mudras during solo meditation.

Shakti Mudra: To Release Birth Trauma

Mantra: It's safe for me to be here now.

The Shakti mudra relaxes the body and mind, helps encourage deep, sound sleep.  Helps to release trauma associated with your own birth, carrying children, and giving birth.  Helps with healing of sexual trauma, allows the energy system to come into balance with the divine cycles of life.  With the palms facing each other, join the tips of the little and ring fingers.  Fold the thumbs into the palms and cover them with the index and middle fingers.

Yoni Mudra: To Release Mother Issues

Mantra: I Am Connected With the Universal Mother

The Yoni mudra invites a sense of sacredness around all aspects of the Divine feminine, helps us release issues around our first female encounter, specifically with the mother.  Join the palms together in front of the chest, cross the ring fingers and open the hands.  Place the right ring finger on top of the left middle finger, place the left ring on top of the right middle.  Hook the tips of the right ring with the left index and hook the tip of the left ring with the right index.  Close the hands slowly, bringing the middle fingers together.  Little fingers are crossed in back and the thumbs are parallel.

Gada Mudra: To Release Father Issues

Mantra: I Am Connected With the Universal Father

The Gada mudra influences feelings of stability and roundedness, security and safety, and helps us release issues related to our first experience with masculine energy, typically with the father.  Hold the hands in front of you with palms up.  Bend and interlace the ring and little fingers and the second knuckle. Tuck your fingers into your palms.  Touch the tips of the middle fingers and extend them upward, form two interlocking rings by touching the tips of the index and thumbs on both hands.

Avahana Mudra: For Grounding Where You Are

Mantra: My home is within my soul, wherever I Am

The Avahana for grounding and centering, while activating a higher level of awareness. Raise the hands chest height or higher, even in front of the face, palms facing you, sides of hands touching.  Place the tips of the thumbs to the base of the ring fingers, spread the rest of the fingers, allowing the little finger pads to touch.
