Beyond Reiki: Why I No Longer Work Within Lineage-Based Healing

For many years, Reiki was a foundational part of my path - one that supported deep healing, expansion, and service. Like many journeys, mine unfolded through discovery, devotion, joy, and unexpected turns. And like all living paths, my work continued to evolve.

My energy-healing journey began nearly 30 years ago with Usui Reiki. I became a Reiki Master Teacher (the designation for someone who facilitates students) and taught Reiki for close to two decades. It was a deeply meaningful time. I witnessed profound transformations in students and within myself - experiences that felt nothing short of magical. I hold genuine gratitude for the role Reiki played in my awakening and for the opportunity to share it with so many.

Over time, however, something began to shift.

Energies evolve based on many factors - collective consciousness, usage patterns, intention, and structure. Several years ago, I began to notice that the Reiki energy itself was no longer integrating in the same way. What had once felt clear and supportive began to feel muddled, heavy, and increasingly misaligned with principles that are central to my work: sovereignty, freedom, and the system’s natural capacity to regulate and restore balance.

As I observed this both in my own system and in others, it became clear that continuing within that framework was no longer aligned for me. In response, I took steps - both energetically and practically - to remove myself from the Reiki lineage, including releasing all students I had facilitated from any energetic ties connected to that structure.

I share this only to name what is true for my work, not to define what is right for anyone else. Students may choose to engage with Reiki or return to it if they wish. My decision was not about control or judgment - it was about resonance.

What I began to see more clearly was not just a shift in the energy itself, but in how lineage-based attunements were functioning within the current state of human consciousness. For many people, these attunements are no longer integrating cleanly. Instead, they can create subtle loops, dependencies, or constraints - sometimes experienced as repeating patterns, stalled healing, or a sense of plateauing despite consistent and sincere commitment.

This isn’t about something being “wrong.” It’s about timing and structure.

As consciousness continues to expand, certain systems that once supported awakening no longer serve in the same way. In some cases, attunements that were originally designed to open channels now act as limiters - subtly reinforcing external authority or fixed energetic pathways rather than supporting organic self-knowing.

During this period of transition, a new way of working emerged naturally through my own field: Channeled Light Healing (a name we used simply for lack of better language at the time). This work bypassed lineage, hierarchy, and attunement altogether, and instead supported direct connection with one’s own intelligence and intuitive capacity. Later, Quantum Harmonization followed - each step moving further away from modality and closer to coherence.

Rather than working within modality or lineage, I now offer Synchronization Sessions that support people in aligning with their own source light and inner coherence - without attunements, hierarchy, or external authority.

I want to emphasize this with clarity and care:
Reiki, especially in its earlier expressions, facilitated immense healing. So much good came through those energies, and I remain deeply grateful for what they offered and for what they helped awaken.

What has changed is not the sincerity of those who practice Reiki - but the context in which those energies now operate.

In my experience, many attunements - across multiple modalities and even across lifetimes - are currently being harnessed into broader false-light or dependency-based structures. This can subtly limit expansion rather than support it. When these structures are released, what often follows is not loss, but a dynamic expansion of consciousness, clarity, and innate healing capacity.

In my work now, I support the release of limiting attunements - whether from this lifetime or others - by honoring each person’s Infinite Being-ness to discern what truly serves and what no longer does. Nothing is forced. Nothing is imposed. Your system leads.
